Fees for Tenants:
Permitted payments
Before the tenancy starts (payable to Longhouse Lettings ‘the Agent’)
During the tenancy (payable to the Agent as per landlord request)
Payment of up to £50 + VAT if you want to change the tenancy agreement.
Payment of incurred costs + VAT for replacement of lost of keys and any other security devices
During the tenancy (payable to the supplier) if permitted and applicable
Other permitted payments
Any other permitted payments, not included above, under the relevant legislation including contractual damages.
Rental income and deposits to not incur VAT, but our service fees do incur VAT.
Before the tenancy starts (payable to Longhouse Lettings ‘the Agent’)
- Initial Holding Deposit: 1 week’s rent
- Deposit: 5 weeks’ rent
During the tenancy (payable to the Agent as per landlord request)
Payment of up to £50 + VAT if you want to change the tenancy agreement.
Payment of incurred costs + VAT for replacement of lost of keys and any other security devices
During the tenancy (payable to the supplier) if permitted and applicable
- Utilities – gas, electricity, water
- Communications – telephone and broadband
- Installation of cable/satellite
- Subscription to cable/satellite supplier
- Television licence
- Council Tax

Any other permitted payments, not included above, under the relevant legislation including contractual damages.
